Monitoring of Metabolic Rates and Expression of Differentiation Markers in Undifferentiated iPS Cells
This case study involved culturing iPS cells under an undifferentiated maintenance protocol, with regular medium exchanges, while monitoring changes in glucose and lactate concentrations. Over the 7-day culture period, cell numbers increased, but a decline in metabolic rate was observed in the later stages. These findings suggest the potential of this approach for developing protocols to improve the quality of undifferentiated iPS cells.
